EDITORIAL

In last few years there has been large growth of in the field of herbal medicines and uses of herbs, extracts and phyto-constituents in treatment of diabetes. This trend has been seen across the globe in both developed as well as developing countries. This is due to the belief that herbal product or extract do not have much side effects and also due to more and more manufacturing units, innovators researchers are getting their herbal products validated for its efficacy, safety and toxicity.

As the acceptability of herbal products is increasing, so companies are following GMP to maintain quality of the products.
