Migraine is among the 10 most disabling disorders Worldwide. Some of the triggers may include Magnesium deficiency, Serotonin, Blood platelet disorder, food etc. Beside Acute attack, Herbal treatment, Drug Prophylaxis of Migraine is also important in order to improve the quality of life. Management of Migraine Headache should begin with identification and removal; if possible of factors that consistently provoke Migraine attacks. The drug of first choice are Beta blockers, Flunarizine, Valproic acid and Topiramate. Drug of second choice are Gabapentin, Naproxen, Butterbur root, Magnesium etc. Choice of drugs should be made on the basis of Efficacy, Adverse effects of drugs.
