EDITORIAL -VOL. 2, ISSUE 2

Researchers are working extensively to find novel, effective and safe antinociceptive and anti inflammatory compounds. These can be synthetic molecules or compounds of natural origin. It is generally observed that compounds of natural origin have lesser side effects and are safer to use once they are properly standardized.

In this issue antinociceptive and anti inflammatory activities of three different plants L.pumila, Solanum pubescens and Gymnosporium emarginata and their extracts has been reported. In addition to this efficacy of antidiabetic efficacy of furostanolic saponinrich extract from Fenugreek seeds has also been reported which appears to be very interesting especially to diabetic researchers.

Another article on cardioprotective activity and mechanism of Acetyl-L-carnitine will be of huge interest to researchers.

Our continuous effort is to publish research articles and review articles of greater relevance and of diseases which are of global significance.

Sincerely
J N Singh
